"I had a very enjoyable stay at Dormy Inn Natural Hot Springs. The location is excellent. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary ramen served in the evening, which was a nice and thoughtful touch after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel itself was comfortable, and the hot springs facilities were a great way to relax. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and would definitely stay here again."

"The room was clean however you can’t check in early, which is something you should note if you arrive before three. There is no included breakfast. There are a lot of stairs within the actual room itself, which is a trip hazard in the middle of the night. We checked out a day early as the bed was very uncomfortable and very low to the ground. "

"Short 10mins taxi ride from Kumamoto Train station, costs around 10USD for the taxi ride. Within walking distance to Kumamoto Castle, if walking is not your thing, you can take a taxi to the entrance of Josaien, which will lead you to the entrance of Kumamoto Castle as well. The taxi ride was around 5mins, and cost less than 6USD. It is also a short 10mins walk to Tsuruya Departmental Store, and plenty of cute shops in the nearby shopping arcade as well. Great location. "Space could be improved. The rooms are tiny. The tub leaked and flooded floor during a bath. So tubs aren’t sealed. It is located in downtown Kumamoto 10-15 min walk from Kumamoto Castle "
