"We stayed at Makai club cottages for five nights and liked our stay very much. The condos have a living room with kitchen, washing machine, dryer and a spacious bedroom. Also very friendly and helpful stuff. The only negative I would point out is that you can hear everything from the neighbors, as the walls are paper thin."

"The condo itself is very cute but it has NO A/C so it was about 90° inside during the day and almost 80° inside at night. It does not cool off easily either. It was colder outside than inside. Very uncomfortable. The only reason we survived was because of their box fan. No where on the hotels.com listing did it say there was no A/C here. So if you have a pertinent health condition where stagnant hot air affects you negatively, this is definitely not the place for you. Otherwise, it was beautiful, quiet, clean, and in a great location. One other thing - this building only has stairs - no ramp or elevator - so getting our luggage up was quite the task. As beautiful as the condo and its location is, we could only give it 4 stars - due to the almost unbearable heat inside. If they had A/C, I would stay here every time!"
