"Our family had an amazing stay here. Location is very good, near the Lake Yamanaka, Mount Fuji view from the living room, dining room and bathroom. Clean and quiet. Washing machine works well. We arrived late at night, self check-in is convenient. Staff can be reached via tablet video chat. Convenient stores are nearby. Highly recommend! "Beautiful hotel and location! The in room onsen and foot bath with amazing views of the Hakone shrine were so worth it. They also provided snacks and drinks in the fridge. The 7-11 and bus stop within short walking distance were also convenient. The one wish I had for this hotel was a way to store your luggage or lockers on location, so that you could explore Hakone luggage-free earlier since check in is not until 3pm."

"We loved our stay at YuYu Onsen hotel. The staff were extremely polite and hospitable. Thoroughly enjoyed the Japanese breakfast experience and recommend you try it. The booking comes with a 50 min private onsen experience which was thoroughly enjoyable in the evening after a busy day of site seeing. The location even though feels remote and away from shops and amenities (we had no car) is served by bus service ( look up the J number buses). They will drop you right in front of YuYu onsen. I booked based on price and had reservations about how isolated this location was but I need not have worried. The remote location and the surrounding woods only enhanced our experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone planning on visiting Hakone and once again I’m thankful to all the staff that made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. ❤️"

"Room was clean loveeee the private warm bath in our room. It was pure bliss sitting in the bath hearing natures outside. Food was good and very generous - glad we booked food with our room as theres not a lot of place to eat around esp if you don’t have a car. Very convenient with the bus stop and family mart right outside. Was a very nice peaceful break from Tokyo."

"We had a lovely stay here with my family of four. The unit is self sufficient and had everything you needed. The spa and sauna were great as well. It’s in a remote area and without a car it was difficult to get to food but there’s a vending machine on property with food options."
