"We arrived knowing the location was quite a distance from Chiang Mai, but we weren't in a rush and coming straight from Bangkok was perfect to relax. There were no other guests when we arrived. "It was a very nice stay. Very private and away form the hustle and bustle of the city. Clean but the condition is a bit aged. Not very convenient as there are no amenities within walking distance but u can always call for taxi or grab easily. We left a jacket in the villa upon checkout and 2 hours after we checkout I received a email saying I left something and we were able to retrieve it. Overall it was a nice experience. "

"Outside not look fancy but when you come to the room very large room nice and pretty private, staffs very nice and welcoming, room very nice and clean , large room can fit 4 people in the room , the price very cheap for nice hotel. "The hotel is in a rural area so you will need to rent a car or be prepared to pay a bit more on taxis. Staff are friendly and the rooms are large, comfortable and spotless. I also liked the bath and the balcony. Breakfast was a small but tasty selection and the room service menu is limited but I really enjoyed the one meal that I ordered. There are better and cheaper day spas in Chiang Mai so I probably wouldn't use that service again. The resort booked a tour for me and it was smooth and easy....

"It is close to Patara Elephant Farm. We wanted to stay close. But we did not expect to love Vanilla Hill as much as we did. My husband said winner of best pillows! Staff was wonderful and the restaurant was incredible. We felt like we were home but at the same time in the middle of the local "vibe". I would Highly recommend this establishment."
