I must admit for a 5star hotel the service was slow, we waited 45 mins to be checked (check in was at 3) and then waited 50mins for our dessert after dinner. The room itself was unclean, the tv would not work as it kept shutting off. The cutlery in room was dirty and surfaces hadn’t been wiped/coffee spills ect Apart from that the staff were friendly and the spa was great. I would book again however would need to be more thorough with the clean.

Was looking forward to the 2 spa facilities but very disappointed, Indoor spa bath in need of a good clean, jets were turned on lots of brown flakes blew into the bath, was filled 3 times and still had brown floaties was pretty gross and wasnt used. The outdoor spa was better but had hair floating around and also clinging to the filter. Face cloth was obviously stained. Bed blankets had stains. On arrival bed was made pretty poorly. Fridge was not cooling no matter what setting it was on. Was disappointed about both spas as that was the draw card for us. Great views from the room & quiet surrounds.

Very lovely property but just starting to see signs of neglect in gardens and surrounds. Room was very clean. No staff at all after 5pm, restaurant and bar not open, which wasn’t communicated clearly when booking. We were left with a note at reception to open our door with a key and the lock had a cover over the keyhole that we couldn’t remove. No one answered the after hours number and we had to wander around what seemed to be a ghost hotel until fortunately we found a friendly and helpful maintenance person who was able to let us into our room. Adequate breakfast with friendly breakfast staff person.

Loved the experience overall, well worth it. Reastaurant staff needed more than one request to keep up with the breakfast service in the restaurant. Dishes piled up on tables, clean dishes ran out as well as frsh OJ ect.
