I stayed at this hotel in Old Quarter, Hanoi for 3 nights and I have to say…it was really nice but also kinda funny in some ways.
First, the location is absolutly PERFECT. You step out the door and boom — hundreds of street food places, little shops, scooters whizzing around like bees. You can hear the city livin’ its best life even at 6am. I never got bored, and even late at night the streets feel safe-ish. It’s maybe a little loud sometimes, but that’s Hanoi, right?
The room was cuter than I expected. It’s modern, clean, and the bed is like a big, soft cloud (almost). The AC worked good which was big deal in the heat. The staff were also so friendly and tried very hard to help me — even when I butchered my Vietnamese and mixed up “pho” with “phone” at breakfast lol.
Now the not-so-perfect: the wifi was bit slow sometimes. I know…first world problem, but when I want to watch my travel vids, I want fast fast. And the shower had only warm water for few minutes in the morning — maybe someone else was using? Not sure. Also the elevator is tiny, so if you have big suitcase you might pray it fits.
But overall? I loved it. It feels like you’re right in the heartbeat of Hanoi. Some things are imperfect, but makes the stay more authentik. I would totally recommend for couples, friends, or solo travellors who want a fun and lively stay!
Would I come again? Yes yes yes! ❤️
