It was a nice hotel but disappointed because the roof top bar was closed for renovations. This was the reason why I booked it I never received a notice that it was closed. I wouldn’t have booked it if I knew that.

The accommodations were very comfortable. In Vietnam most hotels do not provide a top sheet for the bed like the United States. Street noise is very loud bring ear plugs. Major traffic street. Staff extremely helpful. Convenient location.

Hanoi city for the brave

First there were 2 guys at reception who watched us struggle with 3 luggages. We are both 60 plus. Anyway we surrendered our passports n asked to rest on the sofa. We booked for a room with city view and I believe it costs more. Was given 801 with a view of rooftops. While bathing I heard a loud pop and the tv went dead. My sister went down to inform becos the phone wasnt working too. Told to pack up and transfer to 306 but not given keys. We must pack and meet on the 3rd floor. We waited and waited since they have cctv they could see us. Finally I went downstairs and was told to move back to 801. I wouldnt have any of that. Waited again for some fidgeting and got the keys. Theres a balcony we dont use and it was noisy. The aircon wasnt cool sometimes. The water pressure is better than 801 for sure. Housekeeping staff was good. Overall staff is above average. The next door massage was good too. Basically it was an overwhelming time in the streets. We walked with the traffic becos the shop fronts have bikes parked. I learned thats an income for the shop owner. I wouldn't spend more than 2 days in the city next time I visit. Oh btw breakfast was good. The sunny side up eggs done very nicely. Thank you.

ロケーション抜群

少し値段が高く感じるかもしれませんがここは迷わずバルコニー付きを是非選択してください。私の部屋は6階だったのですが街路樹が窓の前まで伸びていて部屋から緑が見えるし向かいの建物からの目隠しにもなり窓全開で開放的に過ごせました。もちろん市街地で目の前は道路なので始終車やバイクとクラクションの音が聞こえますが、これぞベトナムって感じですぐBGMになります。うるさければ窓を閉めてエアコンガンガンにして過ごせばいいだけなので。 場所は旧市街の西外れですがそれがむしろいいです。旧市街中心ほど混雑はしていないので安全ですし、でも旧市街へは歩けば5〜10分す。それよりもこのホテルから徒歩5分の距離に大聖堂があり周辺にはCong cafeなど多くのカフェ名店があるしMarouチョコの直売店やChieなどのハンドメイド雑貨など多くのショップがすぐそこです。同じ5分の距離にブンチャーダックキムもあります。早朝は是非ホアンキエム湖でローカルの方々に混ざってジョギングしてください。歩いて数分で行けます。人と自転車の多さ、大ボリュームでエアロビとか体操している集団は圧巻です。 とにかく市内どこへのアクセスも抜群ですのでトイレ休憩やベッドで一休みしたければ部屋に戻って回復してからまた散策できる最高のロケーションだと思います。
