The location is great and the staff is amazingly polite and very helpful. The rooms are not as nice as in the pictures, the elevator is small and there's a wait during busy hours. The rooftop bar needs a face lift, it's not clean. So, it's a mixed experience.

Most of dining area, shopping, tourist sight seeing is walkable and no need for car. There many tour offices which you can buy many different day and longer term tours. Overall people at hotel and also in Hanoi are very friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay in Hanoi Central

Lovely stay at Bendecir with my mom. The room faces a busy street, with awesome accessibility to the water puppet show and Ngoc Son temple. Great spacious room and nice sky roof breakfast in the mornings. The service by the team is excellent too.

We loved our stay at the Bendecir Hotel. Staff is awesome, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and complimentary breakfast is delicious. It's very close to everything but the hotel is quiet. Excellent location. I would definitely stay there again.

All the staff at this hotel are incredibly helpful. The front desk staff is unbelievably helpful, especially Thom and Yin. They're the most helpful hotel staff I've ever met. Excellent location where you can walk to many locations in the Old Quarter including the night market (which is car free on weekends) and the hop-on-hop-off bus terminal. Lots to see, eat, and shop near the hotel.

The lift (1 only) is frustratingly slow and the air conditioning although functional was problematic with you regularly having to turn off and on again to reset. This is our first trip to Hanoi, the hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. Whenever we need any directions for recommendation, the staffs are most willing to help. We felt very homely in the hotel. Everyday we were met with warm smile from every staff be it we enter or leave the hotel. Breakfast was good and was served with personal preference. The staffs send us off with a warm smile as we left for airport. This is the hotel that I highly recommended, as we enjoyed our stay during our 6 days in Hanoi.

The staff went above and beyond. My cousin had a problem with her visa and was stuck in Tokyo. The staff was able to get it fixed in a day. The breakfast is amazing and different everyday. My only complaint is the rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy if you a light sleeper.

Wonderful stay in Hanoi

Very well located in old quarter pleasant walk to lots of attractions, red bridge pogoda, water puppets, market and food streets, night markets, train street not far if you enjoy a walk, hotel ideal for day trip pickups and short walk to hop on hop off tourist bus, cosy place, one elevator, rooms neat and tidy. Window view with some road noise on lower levels. 2 for 1 cocktail hours a treat from the 14th floor rooftop view and the bar staff were fantastic. Buffet breakfast enjoyable with good choice. Would suggest...Get the Grab app for very good pricing and very safe and easy transport all over Vietnam and the Wise visa card or similar for ease in the transfer of money into dong or other currencies at max rate.
