The Imperial Hotel and Spa is located in the perfect area of Hanoi. You can walk to the lake and there are many great restaurants around the area. The staff and accommodations are top notch. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great location! Situated in the back of a street so you can have a restful night, but still be close to all the attractions within walking distance. Staff are friendly. Free breakfast was a plus and good food. Hotel is a little dated but well-kept. Would stay here again

Overall a nice stay, staff was great and location is unbeatable. Some technical issues though, we were without hot water for about half our stay, with the water barely warm enough to shower. There was a strange mystery switch in the room labeled “hot water”, but it was broken so have no idea if that contributed to the issues. The other issue I had was that when cleaning staff cleaned the room, they removed the key card from the power control, I assume to save energy. Came back to the room sweltering 35c and the A/C off. Took forever to make the room temp tolerable again. I did not appreciate this for an upscale hotel. Breakfast was a highlight, good food, good service and lots of variety. I would probably stay here again, but it would depend on what else was available at a comparable price.
