"I have been coming to Plymouth for over 30 years with my family. Pilgrim Sands used to be our favorite place to stay but then it went through some rough times. I am so happy that it is back to being an amazing family motel. The rooms were SO CLEAN and modern. The access to the beach cannot be beat and my family loves sitting out on the deck overlooking the water. The indoor and outdoor are both well maintained and fun for the whole family. While I was initially hesitant to bring my 9 month old because of stays in the past, as soon as I got to the motel I knew it would be a safe, family-friendly environment. There was ample space for a pack and play, the drapes/shades were dark enough for sleep and there were no late night noises (partying, etc). The breakfast was fantastic and the staff is alway helpful and accommodating. So happy Pilgrim Sands turned it around. I would recommend it to anyway staying in Plymouth with a family who wants to be close to the beach."
"We love this hotel! We have stayed there three times now. It is right on the beach, and within walking distance to many great restaurants. The beach itself can be a bit dirty, especially during/after a holiday weekend, but it is still a nice spot. The fireplace is a great touch, and the beds are comfortable. The pool was very clean this last visit, but on other previous trips the pool area definitely needed attention (no towels, cloudy water, dirty pool deck). The water temp is great, and when clean, very enjoyable! The rooftop lounge area is fantastic, and we have always found the employees to be very friendly. Overall, great hotel. We plan on returning again!"
"Our bed was comfortable, the room was dark, the shower was hot with a well working fan. The AC worked perfectly which was good because it was a scorcher out! The fridge was working, though we didn’t use it and there was a safe available. Cons - the toilet had problems flushing and we didn’t notice until midnight when we returned from our event, too tired to bother complaining about it. The remote for the tv did not work well at all, the only tv available were some antenna channels. The hallways were extremely hot but it didn’t seem to bother the room at all. The outer door closest to our room was broken, so we had to walk all the way around the hallway. A free bowling game is available at the arcade across the lot."
