"This is an excellent property and truly amazing. It was bungalow style within a wooded village. Our unit was a king with 2 baths a kitchen, living, dining and screen porch. Even though the resort is not beachfront, there is a short drive to the back of the property, across the highway and a private parking lot just for Beachwood guests to access the beach. Great restaurants are less than five minutes away. You could spend your entire vacation on this resort entertained by all it has to offer."

"Loved this place! We stayed in the tower building and it was nice and seemed newly renovated. Beautiful sunrise views! Excellent breakfast! Centrally located 4.3 miles from Nags Head and 4.3 miles to Kitty Hawk. Nice gazebo at the beach to get some pretty pictures from! Absolutely no complaints! OBX was the most beautiful place I've ever been and tons of things to do nearby!"

"Very nice hotel! I would say surprisingly good for fear priced dog-friendly beach hotel. Clean, modern enough. The only problem we had - when I talked to the hotel front desk week or two ahead and asked about the amenities and pool availability, they “forgot” to tell me that the pool will be closed. Since we came for the relaxed beach/pool vacation it kind of ruined our plans. Weather also was bad, but I can’t blame the hotel for that."
