"I arrived from Jamaica after a long vacation, planning to stay at the DoubleTree before driving back home to Connecticut the next morning. I called the hotel to arrange an airport shuttle for 7:30 PM, but after waiting nearly 40 minutes — while watching several other hotel shuttles come by multiple times — I called the hotel twice to check on it. Both times I was told it would arrive in “10 minutes.” The shuttle finally arrived after 8:30 PM. When I got to the hotel, however, Josiah was extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating. I honestly felt bad for my attitude and the way I spoke to him on the phone earlier because, despite the situation, he remained professional and understanding throughout. He is truly the only reason I would consider staying at this hotel again. The rooms were okay nothing special but clean . Breakfast was surprisingly very good but they guard it like the police if it’s not included in your reservation."

"Rooms - Massive in comparison to other hotels I usually stay at like Penny & Arlo. My room was a bit bare and could have used an armchair. I stayed in Room 206 with a view onto the roadside but it was super quiet which is exactly what I needed. 2) Amenities - The pool wasn't open sadly when I was staying but the rooftop bar was open on the weekend and was such a great vibe. The coffee / bar area is big and serves the usual drinks and snacks and there's also plenty of dining room if you want to order from their kitchen. Breakfast I had on 2 mornings was delissshh! 3) Location - Indigo is in a great spot, short walking distance along Metrolpolian Ave to all the shops and literally beside the subway for the L train making getting anywhere super easy. There are loads of deli's and restaurants nearby. 4) Staff - Firstly, I have to say the staff at Indigo make the whole experience 10x better. By the end of my trip I felt like I knew most of the staff on first name terms and the fact they took time to remember my name just shows how fantastic they are at their job. Shout out to Ashley, Aerial, Yuri, Tyronne and front desk staff too! I'll 100% be booking to come back in July. Thank you for looking after me on this trip"

"Very clean room, which is important. But people should know this is a very, very bad neighborhood so not for the faint of heart . . ."

"Parking is available but scarce. You could end up with having to park on the streets if you check-in late. There is no clear parking regulations or enforcement. Vehicles were just parked anywhere on the property. The room was clean and equipped with everything needed to spend the night. The water supply pipes were loud when taps were turned on and silent when turned off. Neighbour’s included. This woke me up in the middle of the night. Overall this hotel was very good for the price. I recommend it to anybody wanting to stay in NYC by the LaGuardia Airport."

"The hotel was clean and the breakfast options were typical Holiday Inn Express type foods. The staff could have been more helpful. The shuttle runs until 9pm. You call the hotel and request pick up from the train station. One night we called multiple times for shuttle service and ended up paying for Lyft because no one would answer the desk and yes, there was someone there when we returned."
