"We have stayed here a few times, but we were in a more dated building this time with a flight of stairs to climb with luggage. It isn’t as easy at our age. We have always enjoyed our stays at the Publick House, but the newer sections are obviously much nicer. This visit… clean and comfortable, but not nearly as nice. Even one section near us was cordoned off - possibly for renovation(?) I sure hope so. If we get back to this part of the country, we would likely stay again, but hopefully in one of the newer sections again."

"I love this hotel. The fall decorations are adorable. When I checked in the room was clean but there had obviously been a work crew in the bathroom caulking and hadn’t fully cleaned up. I alerted the front desk and was immediately moved to a lovely cleaned suite. The onsite restaurant is also great."

"The way B&B's used to be with innkeepers who liked to interact with the vacationers; with a home cooked breakfast(s) that was near perfect (not boiled eggs and cold cereal); and with accommodations that were clean and comfortable. we will be back!"

"My daughter and I were in the area going to three of the local colleges for college visits and came from Oklahoma City for three nights. The property was clean and well maintained. The housekeeping staff was incredible and the male housekeeper was very helpful with towels and linen upon request. The breakfast was set-up well with a good variety. If you are on a college visit then stay here because the town of Hadley has everything that you need on a visit and you're within a short drive to all of the colleges. However, my check-in experience was rude & odd to say the least. The front desk night clerk needs some guidance on manners. When I mentioned that we booked the 3 night stay on Expedia he said "Now why would you do that?" My reply, "Well I've used Expedia for 20 years and like my flights, hotels and car rentals bundled and I saved $500 doing it this way opposed to through each individual service." I get it. He was making small talk but after a all day flight I'm not into passive aggressive sarcastic comments. I've been in sales 17 years and would never discredit my customer's decisions. Besides Expedia and Hilton work in a partnership so who cares how you receive a customer."

"The room and bath were clean. The bed is comfortable. The tv show selection is seriously lacking. Breakfast choices are excellent but the coffee is unbelievably weak. Plus, where is the whole milk?"
