Independent, Harkers Island hotels

"We have stayed here a couple of times and really enjoyed the experience. The hotel is literally steps from the beach and had all the amenities you could want-restaurant,pool,bar,hottub etc..parking was plentiful and check-in was a breeze! Plenty of local restaurants to eat at and a putt putt course and go cart track close by. Also the aquarium was a couple of blocks away. Definitely will stay here again."

"It's definitely an older place & very basic, but it was clean & comfortable enough. The man at check-in was very kind & friendly. It does have a small microwave & refrigerator, which was not mentioned in the description I had read about it. Bring your own hangers if you want to hang things up."
