"The cottage is spacious, with a big kitchen and cosy lounge. There are lots of bed options and towels provided. Unfortunately, very basic items like cloths (for cleaning surfaces), dishwasher tablets, and teatowels are not provided, making it difficult to keep everything clean during the stay. In addition, the heating is inadequate, with the thermostat only on at fixed times and the space quickly getting cold again. "Overnight stay . Staff very welcoming and friendly , and informative about Hotel and surrounding area . Did not actually stay in the Hotel but in one of the lodges behind Hotel which is ground floor level . Bathroom exceptionally clean . Bedroom clean and would benefit an upgrade . Anxious about leaving window open overnight as on ground level so felt quite stuffy at night . Full WelshBreakfast very good and served hot . Staff very pleasant . Free Good parking facilities overnight . Enjoyed our stay ."

"Room was small but had everything I needed and was clean and well maintained. Everyone I encountered on the staff was very helpful and pleasant, the breakfast was good and, due to an efficient booking system was cooked to order, fast and not crowded. There were a couple of things about the bathroom, which was tiny, that I did not understand. The shower had no soap dish or anywhere to put the shampoo or body wash except on the floor. Very inconvenient to reach down in such a confined space. The mirror above the wash basin was small (maybe 10 x 12 inches). People of different heights may or may not have been able to use it comfortably. A taller mirror is needed. These things are obvious and inexpensive."
