"Very beautiful historic tavern. The rooms are on the second and third floor so after you check in the staff will shoe you to the room. It can be a bit confusing navigating the building but it is full of historic architecture and portraits of presidents that had visited before. We booked the smallest room which was very cozy and had a gorgeous view of the courtyard. The staff had laid out on a table some water bottles, coffee pods, and two cookies. There was no fridge or microwave in the smallest room, I'm not sure about the other rooms but it wasn't really needed for our stay anyways. The bathroom had a very old fashion blow dryer attached to the wall. It didn't work too well but it was fun to use. The bathroom also had its own seperate bidet. The following morning breakfast is served personally rather than a traditional hotel breakfast and the food was delicious. Highly recommend to stay for a couple's retreat but if you plan on dining in the restaurant, book reservations for your meal ahead of time as well when you book a room."
