It’s the little things that make a big difference. I was thrilled to see all products in the bathroom were animal friendly you should use that as an USP. Also a decent amount of milk & teabags.
I would happily stay here again.
Really nice hotel & restaurant but ……..
1. If you stay you’ll be interrupted by the bang of the front door everytime someone enters or leaves the building.
2. Really bar area but if sat by the same door you’ll be interrupted regularly
3. Really nice food but be prepared to wait - maybe it’s just short staffed at present but found myself standing at the bar waiting to be served.
The quality of the rooms & food were really good but it needs to be staffed correctly (and fix the front door !)
These are rooms above a pub rather than a hotel, the check in was vague, I didn't see a 'front desk' and the lady showing us the room wasn't very welcoming or informative.
The room was a little tired with chipped furniture and peeling wallpaper, and it was very small. However it was well equipped with everything you need for a one night stop.
The shower room was nicely fitted and nice toiletries were provided but again it was very small.
Breakfast was good, and its a dog friendly establishment which will suit some.
Absolutely shockingly bad staff. Infact the girl who pulls the pints has to check you in so zero training. Could not check in till 3 so sat in front of her for an hour and then she said she had forgotten about us. The room was cold and not clean. We checked out 3 hours after checking in as it was dire. Worst thing about it was the staff, all of them.
Room was very clean with decent TV, Espresso machine with coffee pods and a very comfortable King size bed. Service from staff was excellent during our stay.
I recently stayed at Harper’s which was a wonderful experience. It manages to combine a steak house with small hotel. Harper’s has easy access to public transport and also access to the South Downs. Excellent stay.
Great location.
We visited the Devils punch bowl which was only a 9 minute drive away. Easy access to shops.
We stayed in a comfort double room, it was spacious, had comfy bedding (always a plus!) and had amazing black out curtains which made it feel more homely.
Shower facilities were okay.
Restaurant food was okay, breakfast was good although missing the yoghurts.
Overall, staff team were accommodating and friendly. We would definitely stay again. Thanks!
We stayed for 4 days, room was excellent came with a patio, even came with an Nexpresso machine and biscuits as well as other luxuries one would want. We had a great nights sleep and the on site restaurant was good. However, could do with an upgrade to the menue, breakfast could be improved as it changed each time we had it. Must be to the whim of the chef. For the price you should get two sausages at least. The big plus is the staff are very friendly and welcoming
Such helpful, happy, accommodating staff. Alex and Chris couldn't do enough and they squeezed me in for NYE dinner.
Room was comfy, cosy and very pleasant. Great shower, too.
Really enjoyed my stay, thank you.
I enjoyed my stay at Harpers Haslemere. Charming room, a comfortable bed and love that there's a coffee machine in the room! Really lovely and friendly staff. Would recommend and would come back.
Very nice accommodation and not overly expensive compared to other places. The internet access was very good. We had meal in the restruant one evening which was very good however they were obviously short staffed but thats the same where ever you go now. We would happily stay there again.
Great reception and service, friendly staff. Small room but great facilities. Sadly we had to remove a couple of spiders together with their webs. Not an issue to raise but it detracted from our initial assessment of the accommodation.
Breakfast choices absolutely first class.
Location to the centre of Haslemere within easy walking distance and the Railway station literally across the road.... perfect if you aren't travelling by car.
Wholly recommended.
great restaurant with unique boutique rooms . No view from my room ( no 1 but as i was working it didn't matter) Friendly helpful staff and tasty meals
