"This hotel is a little older on the exterior but the rooms are nicely updated. Our room was very clean and we saw the housekeeping staff working very hard every morning. There is a small outdoor pool onsite which looked nice but it was closed for the season. Very good value for the price. No complaints. We would stay here again when we return to Bend."

"Clean, quiet and convenient property. Christina the front desk clerk who checked us in on Friday (Sept. 18) was very nice. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Very nice fall decorations in the lobby. However, we are sad to say the breakfast server that was on duty Saturday and Sunday morning (Sept. 19 and 20) of our stay was extremely rude and hostile. When politely asked if there was more juice or coffee cups or other items, she acted as if she was being put out, glared, did not verbally respond to the question and huffed about the breakfast room. We observed her being rude to other guests in the breakfast room as well. We would like to acknowledge the breakfast server on Monday morning (Sept. 21), however, who was very nice and friendly and kept the breakfast room well stocked. The front desk clerk on Sunday morning (Sept 20) was a bit uncommunicative. Not sure if she was upset about something. We were disappointed with the WiFi signal which was weak and we observed the housekeeping staff using the room clothes hangers as door stops on the floor. Was not encouraging to want to hang our clothes on hangers that have been on the floor and jammed under the door. We certainly understand that hotel hospitality folks have a challenging job dealing with the public all day and we try to be pleasant and easy going so it's disappointing when we encounter people who rebuff our attempts to be kind. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and the hotel is very nice."
