Great location in Hatteras

Location is very convenient to great restaurants and charter fishing. Balcony has a nice view of the harbor. Room smells musty. Apparently, this is common here due to the climate.

We stayed here while waiting for our rental vacation house to become available. Great view and patio. A bit run down with a musky smell but otherwise we had a good stay. Staff were friendly and it was clean.

Loved it !!!

What a beautiful location; the views of the sound from the large balcony were amazing. Breakwater Inn is very conveniently located to restaurants, a coffee shop, and a Wings (walking distance). The front desk was helpful and kind. This place is a great, affordable place to stay on Hatteras; I will be visiting again, hopefully very soon.

Happy for what i paid for.

Clean room/bathroom. Due to the covid19 situation, room service only entered the room after the 5th day. They were available and dropped off towels and gave you anything else you needed. Ice machine was closed due to covid also.

Hatteras area

A little bit older hotel. COVID had the ice vending closed but the front desk person gave us a quart sized zip lock bag of ice. Otherwise it was decent lodging for our brief stay. The area was essentially closed for the season so food options limited. We stayed March 12th.

Fantastic location & view, comfortable beds. Check in staff were lovely. Only had time for one night but will definitely be staying here again.

This property was great. A big storm was coming and we needed to leave early...they very kindly waived the cancellation fee-that was really appropriated!

Reliable Comfort

Annual fishing trip. Warm welcome as usual. The room was a bit musty. Clean and nice touches. Great location too. Hope to go back.
