"Grand Mercure Puka was absolutely stunning. The staff were so attentive, the little cottages were clean, bed was very comfortable, was a quiet relaxing stay. The on site restaurant was excellent. Definitely would stay again "
"A lovely warm welcome from Alby, shown to a beautiful chalet with panoramic views. There is a comfortable lounge/kitchen area, with a double bed on the first floor. 1 hour drive to the east coast and fortunately the weather has suddenly changed to full sun shine. We have decided to stay for 2 more nights. "
"We rang ahead for information after the recent storm, flooding and road closures before travelling. The staff member we spoke to (Bailey?) was extremely friendly and very helpful.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a super friendly staff member - check-in was easy and stress-free. Our room was spotlessly tidy, spacious and very comfortable. We had air conditioning and comfortable long chairs in the lounge, perfect for relaxing after a busy day outdoors. There was a TV in both the lounge and one of the bedrooms, which was a nice bonus. The property also featured two bathrooms/showers, carpet upstairs, a washing machine/dryer and an outdoor verandah with a beach view beyond the first row of houses. There was a small driveway for our vehicle and we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the area was. The resort is just one street away from town and the beach, making it easy to get around.
Overall, an excellent stay! It truly felt like a home away from home. We highly recommend Oceans Resort and would happily stay here again. Thanks so much Oceans Resort!"
"The staff were wonderful. We were late in arriving but staff made the check-in process smooth and easy. We were in unit 1 which has a view of the bay and a wonderful outside sitting area with a bbq. Linens were nice and beds comfortable. The heat pump worked well when we needed air conditioning or heat. The staff were very helpful during an unusual heavy rainfall event to make sure we were safe and had everything we needed. We would stay again if we are back in the area. Hot water beach and Cathedral Cove are within easy driving distance. "
