Feels like home
I really enjoyed my stay at la Siboneya guest house. Very friendly and helpful, they even walk us to search for our Cuban SIM card. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast also was delicious. I think this is an amazing place to stay if you come to La Habana.

Avoid this property at all costs ... the people here are dangerous and unscrupulous... they tried to enter my room while I was resting inside forcibly... They do not have a word of Engish .... there is no internet on the property... It isn't quite.. I felt threatened and unsafe while I was in the property ....I am a very experienced solo traveler and this was the most terrifying experience I have had while visiting more than 50 countries over the years - this property is not safe to stay in - avoid at all costs

We are sorry that you experienced your interactions with our staff in this way. Unfortunately we cannot overlook check-in protocols imposed by the Cuban government as guest houses are highly scrutinised, and inspections are randomly conducted. All guests must be registered upon arrival and sign the registry. Failure to properly register guests can result in a fine or worse for the propertu, and this is something all guests understand and comply with. We wish you all the best in your travels.

My stay at La Siboneya was excellent. The hospitality of the ownership was top notch and I felt honored to be welcomed so kindly into their home. Truly, it served as the safe space for my time in Havana and I couldn’t recommend it more highly for someone looking for a real, honest stay in Havana. Ha sido un verdadero placer alojarnos en casa de Miriam y su hija. Muy bien situada, habitación muy amplia y bien equipada. Miriam ha sido una anfitriona inmejorable, charlar con ella toda la tarde ha sido precioso. Muy atentas, amigables y familiares. He viajado con mi hermana y nos hemos sentido como en casa. Una estancia muy interesante para conocer Cuba y La Habana. Miriam mujer fuerte y luchadora! Os queremos! Ojalá nos volvamos a ver pronto! Un fuerte abrazo.

Hemos tenido una grata experiencia en La Siboneya, con Miriam y su hija. Recibimiento con agua, habitación amplia y con ducha con agua caliente. Situado a 10 minutos del Capitolio. Buen desayuno y muchos consejos de la amfitriona que nos han servido para nuestra estada!!

Een fijne accommodatie niet ver van het Viazul busstation en ook op loopafstand van het centrum. De beheerder Miriam is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en maakt ook nog prima betaalbare ontbijtjes.
