Our stay in Cuba was made memorable with the help of the owner, Ma. Teresa and her property Manager, Mirelis. They made sure that we have what we needed. Ma. Teresa booked for us a tour guide and a convertible and Mirelis helped us book a taxi and introduced us to a money changer who came to the apartment and exchange our $ to CUP! The apartment is very accessible to plaza Vieja and PLaza San Francisco and its a walking distance to almost all of the importanat sights.. We were never hungry because there are a lot of restaurants and food stalls in the area. Regarding the apartment, It is old but well maintained and very clean. We love the fact that both airconditioners are working and its such a comfort to come home in a nice airconditioned room after a whole day of sightseeing under the sweltering sun..The Wifi works great as well so we were able to keep in touch with our families. I would definitely recommend this apartment if youre looking for somewhere to stay in Cuba!

This property is awesome. the locals in the area are wonderful they make you feel at home. Mirelis is a great host, she helped us get around. she suggested places to go and things to do. excellent service overall. The apartment is in a great location and lovely neighborhood. Definitely recommend. The area is very SAFE!

Great stay in old havana!
We we extremely satisfied with this apartment! It was open, airy, full of light and very clean. Our host was so helpful and kind. It was also very centrally located within the old city. The one complaint was that the wifi was not very stable. Would recommend!

My family and I had an amazing stay during our one week visit to Cuba. We are a family of 4 and were very comfortable. The apartment is modern, clean, and centrally located to the sites. A special thank you the property manager Mirales who was able to pick up food for us during our stay and always made us feel at home. Mirales also referred us to a local taxi driver, Marcos, who was phenomenal. We hired him to take us around the city as well as to visit Viñales and Varadero. I would recommend hiring him to anyone planning to visit. I’m looking forward to visiting Cuba again and will definitely stay at this property.

Perfect stay
Amazing stay. Maria Teresa was so helpful beforehand. Mirelis welcomed us to the apartment, helped us with getting to grips with local currency and prepared an amazing breakfast every day. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect just down from Plaza Vieja and on a lively street. The bar / restaurant across the street has fantastic food, great drinks and free street entertainment. After a week we almost felt like locals

This is a beautiful designer property in the heart of the old town much of which has been renovated but much of which has not although this adds to the charm. The apartment is very comfortable for 4 people we were only 2 so very spacious! The air can in all rooms works well. Each morning Mirelis prepared us fantastic breakfasts and changed the bed sheets and towels daily. Although we could not speak Spanish & she had little English we manage to communicate and she was extremely helpful .

We absolutely love the apartment and our host
We really really like the apartment and the host Maria . This is a two bedroom apartment so our family took the entire apartment . Maria arranged the airport transfer for us about 30 CUC and the apartment is in a very central location close to plaza vieja, plaza San francisco , plaza de armas . She gave us a phone that can be used as hot spot and when we go outside . But just bear in mind internet is not a fancy thing in Havana so even with that we didn’t always get to be able to go online . On the phone has all the restaurants she and guests saved . She and her helper came in the morning to cook breakfast for us ( we are not big eater so I would recommend communicate with her before hand so that no food goes waste )and she also arranged a walking tour guide ( David ) which was 90 CUC for the whole tour and the guide was very knowledgeable. Maria also arranged our transportation to Vinales for a day with Marcos and Marcos Is very nice . driver and his English is good . The whole day trip was 180 CUC . There r few restaurants underneath the apartment and free musics . They don’t play music after certain time so no need to worry about being disturbed when u try to get some sleep . There is also a balcony that you can sit outside and just watch ppl down below . We really like Maria , her apartment and the people she works with and we highly recommend her place to everyone but book early as she is very booked

THE BEST! Support for Cuban People is easy to do
Don't even think of staying anywhere else in Havana. Short walking distance to Old Havana and museums. Just a block away from local shopping. Right in restaurant district and 3 restaurants right downstairs. Nightlife also on these streets, but not too noisy to sleep as apt is well built to reduce noise to a dull tone. Actually nice to listen to local music in the evening from the balcony of the 2 bedrm apt. Does not play late into the night. Cleanest place I have stayed in the world! Incl major hotels. Housekeeper comes in at whatever time you want in am to prepare breakfast feast in your kitchen. Every day different treats but always local fruit, fresh juice, cof/tea, breads/jams, and most days eggs and more. Just leave dishes on table and she will clean up. Changes sheets and irons them every day. Fresh towels every day. And cleans up shower, floors, whole apt too. Owner lives in another part of town but is always accessible via the cell phone she gives you (a Note 10 I think) for questions and is there to greet you when you arrive and stops by when you are leaving as well. If you ask she can arrange for a private taxi (P is the first letter of the taxi's liscense plate). He is waiting for you even if you plane is late, carries your bags up to the 2nd floor and when leaving carries them back down. $30 US or $30 CUC accepted (which is the same as USD 1:1 if you wait till you arrive at apt to exchange money. Do not need to exchange any money at all in advance.

A great experience at Mayari Havana Apartment!
Our family of four had a wonderful experience at Mayari Havana Apartment. The owner, María Teresa, was extremely helpful; she even provided a cell phone we could use in Cuba with wi-fi; she recommended restaurants that were excellent; she arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport at the same rate taxis charge from the airport to the apartment; every morning she provided a delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, eggs, a basket of breads, smoothies made of fruits, cheese, and deli cuts--it was truly a feast. She also provided bottles of water so we didn't have to worry about that. The apartment was cleaned every morning and towels and sheets were changed every day. Besides the great accommodations, the apartment is located in the heart of Old Havana, and we were able to walk throughout Old Havana which was wonderful. Mayari Havana Apartment exceeded our expectations. We recommend it without reservation, and our family hopes to return.

Best location in old Havana and best breakfast
It was the perfect introduction to Cuba. Maria was very welcoming and when we eventually, reluctantly, left to tour the rest of Cuba she gave me her number in case we needed help in an emergency. We spent six days in the old town and this was the best location of all - a pedestrian only narrow street, minutes from everything with a balcony overlooking a bar with great live music. No noise issues, because they finished at a reasonable hour, but an incredible atmosphere. Finally, the breakfast was the best food we had in a month in Cuba.Best coffee too. Can't wait to go back.

Spotless, spacious apartment with everything you could need or want for a fantastic stay in Havana. Maria Theresa is fantastic. She gave us a Cuban cell phone pre-loaded with recommended restaurants and contacts. Every morning she cooked us an amazing breakfast with fruit, eggs, cheese, breads, etc. Location is in between Plaza Vieja and Plaza de Armas. Walking distance to everything in Old Havana. Pretty quiet location, but great restaurants right on the street.

This is a beautifully presented spacious apartment right in the centre of old Havana. Each morning, the owner made a delicious Cuban breakfast and placed fresh flowers in the apartment. The apartment was immaculately clean and in first class condition. The owner generously gave us a cell phone to cover for Cuba's relatively poor internet services. I would highly recommend this place if you are thinking of staying in Havana

Beautiful Apartment in Center of Old Havana
Maria Teresa, the proprietor, has a beautiful apartment and, more importantly, provides terrific service. She is bilingual, provides a Galaxy Note for your to use to contact her or make local calls while visiting, and she provide an amazing breakfast every morning, along with a refrigerator stocked with Havana Club rum, sprite, cola, beer and bottled water. The only knock is that the apartment is right above a bar with salsa dancing which can be a bit loud on the weekends at night. I recommend you bring foam earplugs with you and it won't be a problem. We would definitely stay here when we come back. The location, cleanliness and service can't be beat.

Lovely apartment in hotel Havana
Had the most wonderful stay in Havana, at Mayari apartments. The apartment is based in the old town close to all the sights, and is kept in very good condition. Maria provided breakfast every morning which was a delight in addition to a well stocked fridge of beers and water. Maria also provided a phone which had restaurant recommendations which were very useful. All in all a wonderful stay in havana.

Luxury apartment with excellent location
The apartment is very clean and big, nice stay with a perfect location. Only hassle was waiting for someone to come and open the door as there is no reception. Despite agreeing on a time of arrival I had to sit over 30min with the neighbours wondering whether someone will show up or not, as there was also no phone number to call.

Zentraler geht fast nicht: Freundliches, sauberes Apartment mitten im Herzen von Havana Vieja, direkt über dem coolen, gemütlichen Lokal La Reliquia mit Live-Musik am Abend. Wer es total ruhig haben will, ist hier vielleicht nicht glücklich, aber man erlebt hautnah das wunderbar im Rhythmus des Son pulsierendere Leben in Havana.

Un apartamento espectacular
Fabuloso apartamento, que es como aparece en las fotos. Emplazamiento genial, muy cerca de la Plaza Vieja. Marielis te ayuda en todo lo que necesites, como por ejemplo con el cambio de moneda, y siempre esta disponible para que la llames por telefono si quieres consultarla. The appartement was wonderful, very clean, bright, well equipped, lovely decorated and spacious. Two rooms with 3 beds, two bathrooms (very nice showers), airco, a safe and good WiFi. The location is perfect, in the middle of Habana vieja (old center) and very close to plaza Vieja/Rum museum/Harbour/plaza Catedral/Banks/shops/plaza de Armas and many more sight seeings. Perfect location to explore Habana. The hostess was very friendly and helpful! She made breakfast every morning, what a wonderful service and so kind! I enjoyed my stay very much, I would definitely come back here and certainly recommend this stay! The only remark I have is that beneath the apartment is a bar and you can hear the music well. On Saturday’s the music is louder and stops at 3.00 in the morning. So I brought my earplugs, for a good night sleep. That’s all.

The place is spacious, well equipped and very comfortable, neatly cleant everyday. Very efficient air conditionning. The location is perfect, close to piazza Vieja. The owner has been very kind and helpful to solve any problem. For those who need an absolute silence at night it is better to know that there is some music from the bar below (somewhat like everywhere in Cuba), but the isolation is good, the noise is discrete and never bothered my sleep. I highly recommend the place for an perfect time in old Havana.

Dear Frank, My deepest apologies for what you feel was unacceptable for your stay in Havana. I really did try to do what I could to make your stay pleasurable. However, it is quite impossible for me to deal with all of the things that you are complaining about outside of my actual apartment. Generally, clients are drawn to Habana Vieja for the “Vida” in the streets…yes, this includes music, dancing, vendors, shouting…and even roosters. Fortunately, the rooster have yet to manage the stairs and I am able to keep my apartment a Rooster Free Zone. I am sorry for you that you expected Havana to be different but Havana is a lively city with street life. As you can see from my many reviews, I have great standards for my apartment and the service given there.

Eine sehr schön und stilvoll restauriertes Apartment mit der Altstadt mit Balkon , von der Lage nicht zu toppen,gleich vor der Haustüre Bars und Restaurants , wenige Schritte nur entfernt von der Plaza Vieja, alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt auch in wenige Minuten erreichbar . Alles in allem , die Top Adresse in der Altstadt . Unbedingt zu empfehlen !

旧市街に佇むアパート
旧市街のど真ん中にあって、どこに行くにも便利でした。朝食を毎朝アパートのキッチンに作りに来てくれて、毎朝美味しい朝食を頂きました。ビールにお水もFreeで飲めました。敢えて言うとシャワー圧が小さいのと、排水そのものの匂いが少ししましたが、十分耐えられるものでした。

Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Herzen von Havanna. Die Wohnung liegt in einer Fussgängerzone. Am Abend kann es aber wegen dem darunterliegenden Restaurant auch mal lauter werden. Die Wohnung ist in sehr gepflegtem Zustand und es wird täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstück wird am Morgen frisch zubereitet und ist ganz lecker.

El mejor y mas cómodo departamento en La Habana
FANTASTICO!!! El departamento esta en una ubicación privilegiada para caminar a los principales puntos turísticos, plazas, museos y comercios. La comodidad e instalaciones son de la mejor calidad (como si estuviera en Europa) siendo la atención personalizada el valor agregado que lo hace tan especial; cuidando todos los detalles en comodidad, facilidades, consejos para disfrutar aun mas La Habana y un desayuno deliciosos muy consentidos con lo mejor de la fruta y repostería de Cuba!! Perfekt beliggenhet i gamlebyen. Flott 2 soveroms leilighet og de kom hver morgen og lagde frokost til oss i leiligheten, men fersk frukt juice, frukt, egg, kake eller annet som var tilgjengelig den dagen.

Tolles Apartment mit super Gastgeberin
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Maria Teresa war eine tolle Gastgeberin die sich um alles gekümmert hat. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es wurde direkt in der Küche zubereitet. Auf kleine Extrawünsche wurde sofort eingegangen. Das Apartment war sauber und jedes Schlafzimmer hatte ein eigenes Bad. Wir haben ein Handy bekommen mit dem ein Hotspot erstellt werden konnte. MT organisierte uns total nette Fahrer mit denen wir Ausflüge unternommen haben :)

SUPERLATIVO DA PROVARE ASSOLUTAMENTE!
Ottima sistemazione nel centro storico. Assistenza accurata sia prima, che durante e dopo il soggiorno. La proprietaria della casa, signora Maria Teresa , ha provveduto ad organizzare il transfer "notturno" dall'Aeroporto dell'Havana e nonostante l'ora tarda siamo stati accolti con tutte le attenzioni da parte di una sua collaboratrice che peraltro ha lasciato a nostra disposizione un telefono cellulare fino al giorno dopo. Colazione eccezionale, preparata diligentemente per più di un'ora da un'altra collaboratrice della Signora Maria Teresa. Il tutto servito con tazze e accessori di porcellana. Complimenti Signora Maria Teresa. Grazie di tutto, anche di aver organizzato il transfer per Varadero, con un ottimo autista.

Tolle Gastgeberin, sehr serviceorientiert. Frühstück vom Feinsten, wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Lage perfekt im Zentrum der Altstadt. Von hier aus alles fußläufig zu erreichen.

Lugar onde se sente um casa
O apartamento estava super limpo e é bem moderno por dentro. Não tem elevador e a rua na frente do apartamento não dá acesso ao Taxi. De noite havia muito barulho por causa dos bares na redondeza. A proprietária é um amor e fez tudo pra nos ajudar. Ela foi espetacular!! O café da manhã é maravilhoso e fez toda a diferença!
