I stayed for three nights the staff and food was amazing I wanted a little break away from my busy lifestyle and this was the place to be. i will be back with my partner and dog again thank you Keep up the good work guys

If you're a all creatures great and small fan, it's perfect, as you walk in you actually walk into the "drovers". If you're not a fan it will take you back it's an unchanged farmers country pub, but don't let that deter you, the rooms are stunningly clean, the staff friendly and very attentive.

The apartment was spotless, the view from the room was beautiful. The pub interior was like it was straight from medieval times. Lovely little village location. Had a fab time, would definitely stay again

This is an excellent establishment. I can’t think of a more welcoming and jovial place I’ve been to. On Wednesday nights they have live music from 2 local musicians. It was absolutely wonderful. Amazing views and scenery as well. Right on the national nature reserve.

This is a delightful Inn, located in a beautifully quiet part of Cumbria. The rooms are rustic, clean and the beds very comfortable. The food menu is traditional - the steak pies being an excellent choice. One small point would be that the tables in the bar/restaurant could do with a deep clean, as they are very 'sticky' but otherwise the place gets 9/10 from me. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice pub in a remote location. Rooms located in converted outbuildings. Small but perfectly adequate for short stay. Nicely decorated. Food in pub was lovely. Breakfast was ok. Some young members of staff who were very polite and on the go all the time. Clearly a popular and busy place.

First time staying at the green dragon and definitely won’t be the last. The room was lovely, well furnished and really clean. The staff were all really friendly and the food was delicious and very well priced. The tv in the room was modern and huge and had all of the streaming stuff on it. Saved me having to take a fire stick or anything which I appreciated. In the morning we walked the trail to see the beautiful hardraw force waterfall which is part of their site and it was a beautiful end to a great stay. Would highly recommend to anyone. The only thing I would add is the car park is slightly small (but free) and if it’s full you have to park on the road. Wouldn’t put me off at all. It’s a brilliant place.
