"Two things set this motel apart. First, the wonderful and thoughtful people who are running it. They called me by name, frequently handed out bottles of water, provided cookies in the lobby, and they are clearly working very hard to provide a sincere welcome to Scottsbluff. The second thing is the room decor. While this is an older building, what would otherwise be unremarkable cinderblock rooms have been enlivened with cozy and comfortable bedding befitting a more upscale boutique hotel, nice carpeting, and in my room, a mint green retro couch. There are also interesting little extras like nightlights and laundry baskets and everything else you might need. Overall, just a great place to stay in Scottsbluff/Gering, two adjoining towns that are worth a night or two on a tour of the area due to their proximity to the great sights of Scotts Bluff and Chimney Rock."
