"Staff was great rooms were good"

"We were allocated Room 9 on the ground level. The Apartment itself was okay, tastefully decorated, all the cooking and kitchen equipment was supplied. However being on the ground floor means that you views are partially blocked by the elevator and it feel as though everyone can see you as soon as they exit the lift. Also being right in front of the sun loungers by the pool it did not feel private at all we felt very exposed. There are no management on site in the evening and we were subject to an evening of some tenants having a full on fight and we watched as the police came to intervene. The next night there were a group of teenagers having a full on Party after pool hours. Not even sure they were guests!! No security or management came to inform them of the pool hours. We did not have any communication from staff at any time during our stay. The pool is absolutely fabulous and we really enjoyed swimming there each day."

"The view was wonderful and the staff were helpful and friendly. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it was well stocked with essentials for meals, if you choose to eat in. The apartment was a good size but we found the furnishings to be very uncomfortable. Both hubby and I struggled to sleep well, the bed was far too firm for our liking. The sofa mattresses were no more comfortable. This is a good facility if you like very firm sleeping and for a family environment. The pool and hot tub were lovely but constantly overrun with children jumping from the rocks, which made it impossible to enjoy. I do not recommend this location for a couples holiday… we planned our trip specifically to avoid the school break atmosphere, as we longed for relaxation. This was not the place for that. We spent most of our time on Catseye Beach and down at the marina, as the pool just wasn’t an option. Highly recommend the Beach Club for an exquisite dinner and Manta Ray for fantastic marina lunch."

"Breakfast was mediocre considering the price adder. Had to find utensils and napkins and lucky to have a salt and pepper shaker. Food presentation was sloppy. "

"Great for backpackers and people that don't mind a bit of noise coming from the hotel in the evenings / early night. We booked the self contained cabin thinking it may have been the quietest on site but there were probably other ensuit cabins more towards the back that would have been quieter."

"Very big room with washing facilities and kitchen was great. The breakfast options are limited and you have to pay for coffee which is a bit of a let down in this day in age. The lagoon pool was enjoyable and the property and room were clean. They dont do a servicing during you stay which was a surprise but as you have washing facilities you can make do. The convenient access to the boardwalk along the seashore to Airlie was a nice to have, we used it every day."
