Amazing Experience

Hill Home Forge is an amazing location to stay. Eileen and Nic provide one important aspect you will not find in a chain hotel, hospitality. Eileen and Nic are warm and friendly and provide anything and everything you need to know about the area when you visit. The location is nestled in a quiet part of the woods about 5 mins from the center of Jim Thorpe. The rooms and remaining areas of the home are beautifully decorated and maintained. We stayed in the garden room which was very clean and comfortable The breakfast is hearty and filling with great food and conversation. When visiting the Jim Thorpe area again we will be staying at Hill Home Forge and nowhere else.

Stay there last year it was nice. Book ticket for this year in November paid 200 some dollars only to find out a couple days before going there again that they were gone out of business and under a new ownership but we're not open for business. Would have been nice if they sent us an email to let us know that they were no longer open

It is very difficult to give our stay a review. Upon arrival we did a self check in. The room was nice and property clean. Everything seemed fine and went out for the day. When we got back to the propriety we were advised by the proprietor that she had cancelled all reservations for the weekend and refunded all monies due to health issues. We never received any such notification. She told us we could find a place to stay in town and she would refund our money. Friends of her came in and spoke with her and

The B&B home is a totally unique Arts & Crafts designed & built by the artist-owners in a serene wooded setting. Eileen is a wonderful hostess, a great conversationalist, and makes guests very comfortable in a casual atmosphere.

Though beautifully surrounded by Nature, mostly I was impressed with our hostess/Proprietor. She was awesomely interesting and informative. I only wished I would have had more time to listen. The B&B exuded unique and beautiful artistry; Akin to Frank Lloyd Wright in my eye. Fan of our breakfasts as well! Grateful for our comfortable stay

Unique property

This is a unique property with beautiful artwork. The room we were in was rather small, but it was clean and we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were very good. If we were back in the area, I would certainly consider staying here again.

Unique and lovely

This B&B was wonderfully unique in its design and decor. The food was good and the room was clean and had everything we needed. Close but removed from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area it was perfectly located.

Secluded retreat

Eileen was the perfect hostess. This is a great location for anyone who wants to spend some time in Jim Thorpe. Our overnight ?date night? included a lovely dinner and Jim Thorpe, a concert at Penn?s Peak followed by champagne on the veranda off the Woodland Loft. The apple French toast lived up to its Internet fame. Eileen took us on a special tour of her husbands artist workshop. His creations are remarkable! We will be back.

Very quiet and full of character.

Hill Home Forge is a lovely B&B. We were greeted by the owner who gave us information about the area and recommendations. Our room was upstairs with a great view, very quiet and private. There is beautiful artwork everywhere, inside and out. Homemade breakfast was delicious.

Wonderful B&B

We had a wonderful time at our B&B. The breakfast was delicious, our suite was clean & inviting. Miss Eileen made our weekend stay extra special. Her home is so inviting & full of her husbands artwork. We enjoyed everything about our stay at Home Hill Forge.

Awesome getawy

I felt like we were staying in a warm and comfortable museum. We were surrounded by beautiful artwork, a lovely garden, and woods. We had gourmet breakfasts, including stuffed french toast made from home made bread. Being a short distance from town allowed us to enjoy the shops and restaurants and then retreat to our quiet place in the woods When our bike train ride was rained out we were disappointed until we realized that this was a good excuse to return soon.
