Of course anyone going to Denali needs a car. This was like staying at the Hilton re comfort and decor. Terry was very pleasant and helpful and before I booked made suggestion Re length of stay. (4days in winter was too long). She made some great suggestions. Would recommend

Highly recommend
We had such an amazing time. The beds are very comfy and the hospitality was great. The host was amazing, if we are ever in Alaska again this will definitely be another stop for us.

very very nice place. All of my party enjoyed staying here. Very friendly household and lots of useful information about the town and travel in Alaska. If we ever come back to Alaska, we will choose this place to stay.

What a BEAUTIFUL home, lovely bedroom suite, and incredibly gracious homeowner, Terri, who is so thoughtful and welcoming and generous!! It’s so spacious, with wonderful natural light and a beautiful master bath and living room and kitchen area, and a gorgeous porch and lawn area with vibrant flowers, in a very peaceful location that is wonderful to come back to after a long day at Denali Park, a short drive by rental car away from the touristy hustle and bustle area of the park.

I stayed in the basement room area which was very comfortable and meticulously clean. The host Terry was very warm and gracious and she provided such a nice personal touch to the stay. I had not stayed at an B&B before but after this lovely experience, I really recommend it. The house has a nice deck area to hang out on. The continental breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. During the offseason, there aren't a lot of restaurants open, so you are allowed to use the kitchen area to make dinner and a grocery store is nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place that is minutes from Denali. The park shut down on Sept 12 and so did all but one restaurant in the Healy area and it closed at 2 pm so we were very glad to be at a house with a full kitchen so we could cook our dinners. Breakfast options included oatmeal and yogurt for those needing a wheat free diet and many varieties of breads and pastries for those who do not. Super quiet and very restful. The owners could not be more hospitable and welcoming. Great experience in all respects.

Was very clean which is very important to us. It is at a fair distance from Denali Park which also is a positive since you aren't pressured to consume Park or tourist junk.

Our stay at Primrose was great. We arrive and Terry greeted us and we immediately felt right at home. The house is spacious and very clean. We had all that we needed and Terry answered any questions we had about the area. We woke up each day to a delicious breakfast - even my somewhat picky eaters (10, 9 & 8 year olds) enjoyed eating and talking with Terry every morning. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend staying at Primrose if staying in Fairbanks. It feels like home and is close to everything in town.

My hope is that all of my guests enjoy their stay. I do continental breakfast here, and most guests are happy with the choices. For future guests, at breakfast I have three types of cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, granola, blueberries, bagels w/cream cheese, bread for toast, muffins, danish or cinnamon rolls, fruit, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, orange juice, milk. The variety of fruit changes with availability, but I almost always have oranges and bananas. I also change the danish, doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, for variety.
