The pool was freezing couldn’t even use it and there was a towel left in the water from the night before. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was good and the trails are nice.

Beautiful location! Room was great with a lovely view. The restaurant is just okay. The adults only pool area is really nice, but guaranteed at least one pool will be out of order when you visit. The hot tub was filthy. The temperate pool was really nice. The indoor/outdoor hot tub was out of order.

Over we enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the outdoor rink and a quick hike with relaxing views. Our 6yo daughter enjoyed the pool. The rooms were showing their age, with peeling wallpaper, and no hot water. We did bring up the hot water issue with the front desk , which they resolved with a complimentary dessert from the hotel restaurant .

We had a relaxed, restful stay. Loved the trails, and the spa pool was amazing. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfy. The staff were accommodating, and the restaurant food was stunning.

The spa was great, enjoyed an hour massage. Pool facilities were very good except the sauna was out of order and one hot tub was diwn 2 of 3 days. Restaurant was very good.

Our room sink was sliding all over the place, the toilet flushed about 50% of the time, the shower was broken. It’s a good hotel in general with great amenities but things need repair.

Our room was clean. Staff friendly. We love that there’s 2 separate pool locations for family and there’s pool for 18+ only. We really enjoyed that! Would definitely come back to enjoy the spa next time.

My stay at Hecla Resort was a pleasant one. The room was clean and the resort was also kept keep at all time. There was an heating situation in the restaurant. I only wished that the situation was communicated during arrival.

Disappointing experience. We were not told until we arrived that the pool was closed (main attraction and reason we brought our kids there). Then, when getting them ready for bed, the water poured brown in our room’s bathtub. Long story short, the facility is becoming dated. On a positive note, the service at the restaurant was good and the cross country ski trails were beautiful!

Good stay, but place needs a bit of help

Stay was good. Overall, the hotel need a good clean up. The pools are the best part. The staff is super nice. The location is spectacular. The bones of the hotel are so good, just needs a a good vaccum, maybe a coat of paint here and there, and an update to some amenities.

Staff was great! Helpful, polite and friendly. The restaurant has a good selection although some beverages were out of stock. The facility itself is tired and the decor is disjointed; no theme or continuity. The pools/steam sauna in the adult pool area are good and the ability to swim from indoors to outdoors in winter is a fun experience. However the cavernous space is uninviting with 5 or 6 different colours of paint. Could use some tall tropical trees and a professional decorator. Our room was comfortable but again needed some TLC. The lighting was very dim and not adjustable. The shower had two cut off hoses sticking out at chest height which were unsightly and squirted water out if you turned the wrong handle.

The room was huge furniture was okd and not good for someone with mobility issues. Pool area was freezing outside doors were been blown open from the wind outside . People tied them shut with towels. Area was so cold people wore jackets as their kids swam.

We had a lovely short stay at Lakeview. Ali at the restaurant was very thoughtful and took great care of us, making our dining experience wonderful. Jose at the front desk was very friendly and went out of his way to offer us a First Aid Kit when my friend slipped when we were hiking. Their kindness and attentiveness really made our stay special. The only downside was that the toilet flush didn’t work well, even after being checked by the engineer. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and it was worth the trip!
