"Varu was exactly in its name, an Atmosphere experience! From the drum ceremony arrival to the birthday dinner on the dock gazebo to the food and the service. Impeccable! I celebrated my birthday at Varu and absolutely loved the experience. Abby, Zune and the entire crew were phenomenal. I made new friendships here. My only suggestions are more entertainment during the evenings. It's a little bit dead after 9pm during the weekdays. But we would absolutely recommend. Charcoal is worth every moment! Food might be the best we've ever had. Try the lamb skewers, Wagyu and Pork Belly. Phenomenal! My water villa was what dreams are made of! Will definitely be back. "

"I don't understand the people who give less than 4-star reviews to this holiday destination. They must be nitpickers who expect to have the conditions from One and Only Reethi Rah (the neighbouring island) at the prices from the Summer Island. Come on, you could stay there only one hour with the money you paid for two weeks at the Summer Island. All is more than reasonable at the Summer Island, I mean the location, the meals, the staff, snorkelling and diving opportunities. "

"From the first moments of welcome all the way to our last boat ride back - everything was truly spectacular. This was our third time in the Maldives and definitely the best. The quality of service is quite unparalleled- every staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful and competent. We felt right at home. The hotel was a perfect combination of family friendly without it feeling too much of a family resort. Our beach villa was spectacular - spacious, great facilities, and with thoughtful housekeeping service. We were also very happy with the morning and evening buffet and overall the quality of food and drink was excellent. The hotel’s water policy was also very guest friendly and it was so relaxing not having to worry about having to constantly purchase water bottles. We also greatly appreciate that we were able to both check-in early and check-out late - that is the type of service and guest friendliness that really makes Coco Bodu Hithi stand out for us. Lastly, a big thank you also to the kids club staff and facilities. I would definitely recommend advertising the kids club more prominently on the website or on other booking platforms as that can be a motivating factor for other families. All in all we had truly a wonderful stay. We would be happy to come back to Coco Bodu Hithi again soon. "

"Hotel staff take care of you from airport pick up to drop off. Hotel is right on the beach and rooms have a balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean. Amenities such as hair dryer, iron, body lotion, bar fridge and snacks are in room. Nice bed. We enjoyed the hotel restaurants but also ate at local places. Lots of activities available! A wonderful place to relax! "
