"We stayed Friday through Sunday and our room was never cleaned. Saturday when we returned from an all day outing, we had to contact the front desk to complain and ask them to bring clean towels, and empty the trash, which they did promptly. Sunday morning we had to go to the front desk to replace our cream and coffee packs and water, which was complementary in the suite. Also, we had breakfast Saturday morning and it was disappointing that they didn’t have an omelette station for the price charged for breakfast. We really liked the size of our room, it was clean upon arrival and the staff was great!"

"⸻ I had a very disappointing and unacceptable experience at Sparkle Hotel Rahway. The first room I was assigned was clearly not cleaned—there was a blood stain on the toilet, what appeared to be pubic hair in the sink, and the beds did not look freshly made. I immediately reported this to the front desk and was moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room was just as bad. The microwave was covered in fingerprints, the sink had visible dirt, and there was spilled juice on the countertop. On top of that, the room smelled strongly of smoke, which made it even more uncomfortable. When I brought these issues up again, I was told no cleaning staff was available at the time, and no manager was on-site to issue a refund. As a result, I was left sitting in the lobby trying to figure out a solution because I refused to stay in either unsanitary room. This level of cleanliness and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. Guests should not have to deal with these conditions or be left without immediate support. I would not recommend staying here based on this experience."
