We were blessed with sun & blue skyโ€ฆ..walk across the road to the golf course and an easy walk to a beautiful beach. The grounds are lovely. They had a wedding party and could not accommodate our having dinner at the hotel BUT the receptionist made a recommendation and booked a nearby dinner for us which was very good ๐Ÿ™‚ If we get back over the pond we would stay here again & for longer"

"What a place to stay at Garvault House! It's literally in the middle of nowhere, no light pollution and views of pure wilderness for miles around- amazing location. Food provided was very tasty and dinner becomes a very social setting where everyone is on the dining table, although you can sit privately next door if you wished! Rooms could do with a bit of modernising albeit not too much to take away from the charm of this 'off grid' location. No TVs either, but WiFi and phone signal still good if that bothers you during your stay"
