Very enjoyable stay. Clean and comfortable room. I was on a walking holiday and very convenient for buses, shops and pubs. Excellent continental breakfast buffet. Self service but plenty of everything you could want. Historic Blue Anchor brewery pub next door. Recommend Henlys restaurant as best in the town.

Convenient, comfortable B&B, good value

Convenient location in the centre of Helston within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants Room was large with a great comfortable bed, only slight issue was the early morning road noise and the noise of the water pump as we were on the top floor Strange to stay in a B&B and not to see anyone, but it worked with self check in and checkout along with self service continental breakfast I would stay again and recommend for people in the area

Excellent Value for Money

Number 52 is a beautiful Georgian Townhouse in the centre of Helston. The room was very clean, well maintained and comfortable with ensuite bathroom. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Although it is next door to the wonderful Blue Anchor Pub, it was not too noisy, however there is some road noise as it is situated on the main street and with a taxi rank outside. We were very impressed and would stay there again. It is very good value for money particularly as there is no extra charge for a dog.

Little gem. Stopped for one night but so good. Very clean and comfortable with an excellent choice at the self service continental buffet breakfast. Incredible value for money. Some noise from pub next door but not raucous and definitely not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay again and recommend No 52 without hesitation. Thank you.

Great little place - simple but effective

Great little place right in the middle of town. I was a bit wary when I first arrived as it is located right on the main street, but the traffic noise was minimal after 10.00pm. Bed is SOO comfortable (one of the best I've slept in for a while - I stay in approx 40 hotels per year!). Breakfast arrangement was simple but innovative - an extended continental breakfast in the breakfast room to which you just helped yourself to. Parking outside was limited (ok between 18.00 and 08.30) but the owner provided directions to a side road where there is free parking if you need to leave later than 8.30

The breakfast was poor. Instant coffee and long life croissant/pastry. All of which you make yourself. No cooked options available. We saw no staff during our stay nor were are rooms serviced, not even the bins emptied. Bed was comfy but room very small and en suite tiny, with noisy plumbing.

Niosey would not recommed or stay again

Due to the bedroom overlooking the main high street it was very noisey and you heard all the traffic noise throughout the night. The glass pain in the window was broken which didnt help. Had to try and sleep with ear plugs but still didnt help. Due to the loss od sleep the following day was ruined

Checkin is remote.. As in there is no one at the property. Would not be a problem normally... however the fire alarm activated at 1.30am. There was no evac plan. No contact details and no way to turn off the alarm. It was through the kindness of strangers and the fire service that the owner was eventually found and someone was sent to deactivate the alarm. Parking is a problem as others have said and noise definatly a issue when next doors pub has live music..and all rooms have thin walls.

The location in town was great, but there was really no parking anywhere near to the property. During my stay I saw the property manager/keeper once at the beginning. I had to go to the pub next door to ask for the keys. They didn’t have them. The lady at the bar was very helpful by trying multiple ways to get a hold of the Bed and Breakfast. The property manager/keeper finally showed up and took me over to get my keys and to check in. That was the last time I saw anyone from this facility.
