A little out of the way, but worth the stop

I was returning to Denver from the Badlands and decided to go through NE. This place was about 1/2 way, and seemed to have local charm. It did. Located on a farm in a small town it was cute and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful and the family who owns the farm was very nice. I would definitely stay here again over a chain. One warning, the town and farm is right near a major rail yard. They get LOTS of trains coming through. It didnt bother me, but it could be an issue for others.

Excellent

The cabins are on a non-paved road. However, they are only about 1/4 mile from paved road. If the listing had mentioned this, I would have booked another hotel (that would have been my loss). I'm very happy to have stayed at the Patriot Inn. The road was no problem (and I was on a motorcycle). The owners were very pleasant and the breakfast was great. The cabin was perfect in every way! VERY CLEAN and well decorated. I will definately return.

quiet with great view

We really enjoyed our stay. There were several cute little activities the owners had available for their guests. It is out by itsself but that was part of the charm of the quiet little cabin we stayed in.

What an exceptional stay!! We have never received such wonderful service and very family oriented atmosphere. The kids had fun with the golf course and it was very relaxing on a hectic (graduation) weekend. We will definitley try to get back there again soon.

Patriot Inn-Hemingford, NE-felt like home!!!

For those that would appreciate a quiet, country stay, this would be an excellent choice. Super friendly service (I felt like I was being welcomed home). For those that are city folks and want to be waited on hand and foot, they won't appreciate the atmosphere of the Patriot. For those that want a homey feel, this is PERFECT!!!

The personnel at the Patriot Inn are extremely helpful, courteous and professional. They are very understanding to the traveler and vacationer. I will definitely refer any friends and/or family to this establishment. The Patriot Inn is very clean and pet friendly area.

Delightful

This is a place for those who want to slow down a bit and enjoy gracious hospitality. Sally was so kind. Besides having a cabin that was delightfully furnished and enjoying a delicious breakfast, we were also shown the farm's chickens and fainting goats! It was a fun stop on our way to the Black Hills.

Patriot Inn - Nebraska

The cabin was nicely decorated, breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the owners were friendly. We enjoyed visiting the chickens and goats on the farm. Great place to rest if you find yourself in Hemingsford.

Unique little hotel outside Alliance

Had some difficulty finding the hotel at first - it is a short way off the main road in Hemingford - actually in Minichville with a population of 8!! The hotel is run by a family who do a fantastic job making you feel right at home in this unique location in the countryside. Breakfast was plentiful (freshly made cake, fruit, juice and more) and the rooms were very large, well equipped and well serviced. Overall can't recommend this place enough, great place to stay if you're passing through Nebraska/South Dakota border. One word of warning - the only restaurant (fast food place) nearby in town closes by 8pm!

Home away from home--Patriot Inn

We were so pleasantly surprised to find our lodging on our first nite on the road. The cabins are ever so clean and comfortable! We were thrilled to find a field of sunflowers in bloom right across the road! The country air was clean, quiet, and peaceful. The breakfast was more than we ever expected---so delish too!! The inn keepers were very helpful and welcoming. There was a beautiful garden right inbetween the two cabins....one could sit on the porch and enjoy the serenity. Truly a restful nite---for our busy traveling schedule.

Great place! I would highly recommend it for people traveling in the midwest. It is close to the sights in south western South Dakota. It is a little remote, but easy to find and worth the trip!

It's in the middle of nowhere, but worth every minute

My 4th visit to the property and it ranks right up with any 5 star hotel in the "big town". I'll be there for a week this summer on business.

You wouldn't expect this in such a small town

Home baked muffins and rolls, fresh fruit, working TV and internet. Comfortable beds. What more could you want?
