The family and I were traveling for work and just happened to need to stop in Hennessy for the night. Did not get in until midnight but the staff were right on top of getting us in the room! Clean sheets Fresh towels and linens Comfy beds it was a perfect place for us to stop and we will be coming back!

Nice little safe and secure property. American owned and operated. Room was very clean. It was a little younger family that runs the place. Some newer furniture in the rooms. Very homey and comfortable.

Filthy! Bed was made. Bed bug feces on mattress, bed skirt was stretched out and had been stepped on, dirty, floor wasnt swept, shower was disgusting with splatters of dirty soda. Scum and bathtub was not even rinsed out, pubic hair around the toilet, refrigerator dirty, microwave dirty, white substance crusted on the recliner, the recliner had filthy sweaty dirt stains on the arms, thank goodness he brought towels so I could cover the desk chair to study. The trash can didn’t have a liner and was nasty. The owner had the audacity to ask me “not leave the room trashed because his property manager was in the hospital and it was only him.” I was too afraid to ask for my money back, might be on the next milk carton for Missing persons. I did leave him and note when I turned in my keys expressing my disgust and left sticky notes everywhere he should clean to help him out. Can I get the money back for my room, plus the $3 for the 30 sticky notes I used? HEALTH DEPT NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS!

Owner cancelled my reservation

The lady who checked us into the room was polite. She mentioned they were working on getting hot water as a pipe had busted. However the water didn't get hot that night. The heater ran but the room didn't get warm. As it was the only available motel in the area, I had to book another night. I called first to inquire about the water and heater and requested a different room but they were all full. I told her that I would book the same room and got confirmation that it was booked. Then the owner called me the morning of my reservation to tell me he cancelled my reservation since I wasn't happy with the room and already rebooked it. They had no more rooms available. I was polite when I inquired about another room but I guess they took it as complaining. It's a very bare bones, older motel but it was inexpensive and the cost was appropriate for the environment.

Owner is very kind and understanding. Just because it doesn't look like a 4-5 star hotel, doesn't make it any less of a place to lay your head. The character and customer service of a place makes it or breaks it for me, and she went above what she needed to to take care us us.

Clean, comfortable and quiet

Eric, the manager, was friendly and helpful. All I was looking for was a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to to clean up and sleep. Sawmill Inn was perfect for that.

If your looking for a few hours sleep it's fine.

Just an over night stay for work. Not bad for just sleeping in. Stayed in Enid at a nicer place the next night. Staff was friendly. Room is just run down.
