"Amazing lakeside hotel and cabins! Driving distance to Cooperstown just a few miles. Quiet location and beautiful scenery! Would definitely go back again!"
"The staff was very helpful when I change my stay from 3 night to 2 nights. They also were nice enough to change me from a 2nd floor room to the first floor when they found out that I was having a knee replacement.
The ebening after my surgery my sister went to the Bar/Restaurant and was able to get us someting to eat which was very good.
The morning we were checking out we ate the continental breakfast which was just what I needed and it was all freshly made.
Over all we enjoyed our stay at the Burrstone Inn."
"The first impression was very poor based on the condition of the outside of the building. It could definitely use some repair work, cleaning, and fresh paint. However, we walked in and the owner was waiting to check us in, give us our room key, and show us to our room. Our family of 5 had a room with 3 queen beds, which was nice. The room was clean and the bathroom was well stocked. However, the 3 beds consumed almost the entire room with very little space for our luggage or even to walk around. A couple luggage racks would’ve been helpful. For being named The Baseball Hotel, we expected some baseball themed decor, but there was none. A small coffee cart was the only amenity. We never saw any hotel staff again and just left our key in a drop box when we left the next morning. Easy drive from here to Cooperstown."
"Really enjoyed my stay. Staff very friendly. Nice location, off the lake. Just a couple of issues. Tough to locate some basic necessities, like cups, dishes silverware. But if you ask staff, they will definitely help. Rooms a little small and slanted. Restaurant only opened Thursday through Sunday, and I was not aware of this. Invited my in laws to dinner there on a Wednesday, only to find out after they arrived, that the restaurant was closed."
"Me gustó su entorno de tranquilidad y un lugar único en cuanto a su entorno. La limpieza no tan buena porque no limpiaban bien las habitaciones, cuando llegamos el piso de la habitación no estaba limpio. Pero el personal de la recepción muy atento cuando llegamos."
"Great stay. When I checked in at the front desk, they had a welcome bag waiting for me with a personalized note about the weather and events in town that day and a water and granola bar. I've never received a welcome bag from a hotel before and it was very sweet!"
