"Our room was nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast was very nice and served in a beautiful dining room. Unfortunately, a wedding was taking place the day we checked in. The wedding festivities continued (loud music, louder singing and screaming) until 4 am!!!! Tried to contact staff from 1 am but no one was available. I understand the wedding guests were happily celebrating but a cutoff time (such as midnight) should have been a part of the wedding venue agreement. The following day when I spoke to reception about the noise and our lack of sleep, I was told they could not prohibit the wedding guests from partying all night long!
We were a party of 6 adults, staying in 3 rooms. We were very disappointed with our stay and the lack of involvement by the hotel staff.
We will not be recommending this hotel or returning."
"Breakfast was really nice with everything fresh and even bacon and scrambled egg.
Staff were really nice and friendly, complimenting my wife on her French whilst also being good wirh English"
"The hotel overall was very good, and the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was also excellent with a good variety of options.
However, the carpet in the room had a very strong smell of dampness and mould, and it felt quite dirty because of the humidity. This was the only negative point during our stay.
Apart from that, everything else was very good."
"For a one night, quiet place to stop off on my journey with my dog, it was perfect. Not much room, but totally worth it - Best shower I have had in a long time and all renovated recently so it was a pleasant environment.
Lovely surroundings for walking.
Will stay again if I'm passing. "
"A warm welcome. A pretty room with very comfortable bed, kettle and TV. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower and double jacuzzi bath. Parking right outside. Great location for Montreuil, Valloires Abbey, and the huge sandy beach at Berck. I was in the main house, but Elise also has another property just down the street. Breakfast at main house though. (Not sure this was clear online.) Bistro in village open Friday and Saturday but plenty of places to eat in Montreuil which is a 15minute drive."
