"A lovely grand hotel with the nicest and most helpful staff, from Kris on the front desk, to Ruben the concierge and Sianna at the pool. Lots of nice touches, Excellent breakfast and dinner too. Top class."
"Friendly hotel with helpful staff.
Conveniently located in St Peter Port.
Nice choice of restaurant, bar, snug and coffee/tea room with outside terrace."
"Fantastic breakfast choices, staff very helpful. Lovely room, stayed in Tree House which was a delight.
Only downside - poor lighting in Tree House and decking needed sweeping and a clean around the lights outside."
"Location, the room and view.
The gentleman who cleaned the room was lovely and very considerate.
Disappointed with the waiting staff regarding time taken to be seated and served. Felt very judged by some."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Driftwood Inn from 31 July to 4 August 2026. Overlooking Perelle Bay, it enjoys a superb west coast location with magnificent sea views and some of the most beautiful sunsets on the island. The outdoor seating area is the perfect place to relax with a drink and watch the sun disappear below the horizon.
The staff were exceptional throughout our stay—friendly, professional and always happy to share their local knowledge, helping to make us feel genuinely welcome.
Food was another real highlight. Breakfast included offered an excellent start to the day, while the bistro menu provided a focused menu. There is an additional pizza menu offering further options. Our seafood and farmhouse options were excellent.
Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing break. There was some occasional road noise from passing traffic, but it was only a minor issue and certainly didn’t detract from our enjoyment.
The location is ideal for exploring Guernsey. Bus routes 91 and 92 stop nearby, providing a convenient and inexpensive (£1.70 single) journey to St Peter Port, while the reasonably large, free car park makes the inn an excellent base for those touring the island by car.
Overall, the Driftwood Inn combines a great setting, good food, welcoming staff and great value. We would happily stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Guernsey."
"This hotel is ideally located I'm Guernsey with plenty of car parking facilities at the rear of the hotel.
The bus stop is very close offering bus routes all over the island.
The staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful and always pleasant.
This is my third visit to the hotel but this year my single room was smaller on Floor 1 to that on the top floor where I've previously stayed so that was a disappointment"
