"We have found the Ramada chain incredibly good value for money on Sunday nights at less than £40 and they accept dogs although I do think £20 surcharge is a bit excessive. We have stopped in a few Ramadas and have found them all to be at a good level for the price point, some better than others."

"This place is really nice. The location and setting is nice and peaceful. The food at the hotel is amazing also and worth a visit just for this! Another perk was the free gym with the stay which I made use of. The room was decent and comfortable and the bed was made up every day. The only thing I found that could be better was the water pressure for the shower but it was ok enough to get by, and there’s no sound proofing at all in the room I was in. I could hear every move and breath of the neighbour and everything they were watching. I didn’t mind this but I can see how it might affect someone’s stay. I also had to consider my noise levels a bit more especially when on phone calls/face time with kids. Overall great stay and would definitely visit again as the setting really is nice. Especially if you get the weather right!"

"We arrived early...and Adam was there to tell us about the place. The village is quaint... easy to get groceries if needed. The room was spacious---and we had the little garden door-- we sat outside each evening....listening to the birds. There is a lot of history in this area. Clean rooms. It was a pleasure to stay."

The food was excellent, as was the service. Our room was well situated and the breakfast kitchen was well stocked (continental) and accessible to all guests staying over. Our second night proved just as pleasant, with the meal being just as pleasant as the first night. Well done to the team and thanks again for the lovely stay. M&A"
