We loved everything about this hotel ..the location, the gardens, the delicious Breakfast delivered to our room each morning and the amazing views . But the thing we loved the most was the incredible STAFF. From the moment we arrived, Patrizia at the front desk made us feel so welcome. During our stay she helped us in every way possible, making dinner reservations, arranging taxis and making us feel like valued guests. She is wonderful! Jackson is another jewel. His smile every morning when he brought our breakfast was a great way to begin our days. The other young people who worked at the front desk were also lovely. We have stayed at hundreds of hotels and can say without doubt that this was the best hotel staff we have ever had the honour to meet. Thank you all for a memorable 4 days. Stresa will live in our hearts forever!!"

"We only stayed a few nights and so didn't use the pool. However, the room (deluxe double) was very clean and had a balcony overlooking the lake, with the most splendid view. It was lovely to wake up to every morning. The breakfast was great and as we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary we had an amazing evening meal, the owner served us and she made it extra special....thank you! I shall always remember it."
