"We both share part of miscommunication at check in, since we arrived at night and they don't have frint desk at this hour. And we didn't tell them about our arrival. But everybody just move so quickly to fix everything for us even the owner phone us from out of the country to ensure everything was ok. Road was not good, but driving was ok, hour and a half from Puerto Jimenez. Rooms are big. Rest rooms are in the room, but kind of out in the open. NO AC. But fans, electricity is by solar panels, so its limited. Area is amazing and beautiful, lake nearby and kayaks, horses. NICE place into the jungle. "

"There is no way this is 3.5 star and it is very expensive for a small motel room. Cold water shower (despite it working for a couple of seconds) Owner has a pack of dogs that bark all the time - they locked them in when I complained but were out barking again at 6am It says it is inclusive of breakfast but they didn’t provide it and said it was a mistake So really poor but the little restaurants nearby were great and I probably had the best meal so far, it’s also a great place for spotting parrots and toucans "

"It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. We were the second guests and I can tell you- this is going to be an upscale lodge so come now while the prices are still reasonable. The way there is a bit rustic so be sure to have a 4 by 4 and come during the day so you can see the nature while driving. You cant go wrong. "
