"The spa, gym, and lake views are excellent. The hotel has a very 90's feel and no room service (this was a bummer as we had a lake view room and wanted to stay in and relax). The beirgarten by the water has excellent food, although it closes at 930pm (as does the only restaurant on site (a buffet). The place was comfortable for 1 dayx the lake location and sauna were exactly what we wanted"

"The room was very clean and in great condition. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were nice and plush. The closet was a huge walk in style so I was able to unpack and not have to feel like living out of a luggage bag. I loved the in room refrigerator. The shower was powerful and luxurious. Internet connected easy and was a good speed for working. Being an American speaking English only all staff was kind and spoke English for me. I felt right at home."

"The hotel physical condition was average. It is an old hotel so it is very normal and the personnel was soooo helpful and smiling. "This is a beautiful old hotel property. It has great bones and the rooms have been updated and modernized nicely. That said, there are some very quirky aspects to the property. Firstly, there is no reception - just an automated machine that provides a key card. This means that there is no one to ask about parking, amenities etc. The second thing is that no one speaks English at all. The cleaning staff was very sweet but could not speak a word. We had to use Google Translate for all...

"I had a big problem getting the key to the room. There was no note or message to explain how to get the key. I tried to call several times but there was no answer. It was a most challenging experience."
