"Hotel public areas good.
Stayed here several times and it’s a lottery which rooms you receive. Some spacious and some very compact and overall a bit shabby now.
Last nights stay was allocated attic type twin room. Very small and dated.
Stay here for the location and ease of parking but really does require some updating and improvements now. "

"Stayed for 1 night, overall it was a positive experience. Room was a bit too warm even after we'd adjusted the temperature control. Went to breakfast around 0930, this must have been after their busy period as some of the food, drinks and cups etc needed replenishing so a wait for our choice was had. Throughout staff we're pleasant and helpful, hotel also in a great central location. Would return if staying in Newcastle. "

"Really didn't enjoy our stay. The room was dirty especially around the windows and in poor state of repair with multiple chips in the basin. We had to climb a very old spiral staircase to get to the room which would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. Finally we were given a choice of breakfast either at 7.15 am or 10.15 and nothing was available in between."
