"Dan was a great host and made us feel welcome immediately. He even took the time to send an email about places to stop and eat.
The rooms were clean and well appointed. The grounds were also very nice with BBQs, picnic tables and lots of spaces to meet others staying at the motel. I would come back in a heart beat.
Also located very close to great hiking including Limberlost, Arrowhead and Algonquin. "

"The resort in older but well maintained and well kept, incredibly picturesque. The only negative might be the hill and stairs you need to navigate to get to the beach. Anyone with mobility issues would struggle. It didn't affect us but it might be a issue for some. All of that said, I realize that the resort can't really help it but maybe making it obvious to travelers would be helpful. "
