Nice clean room. Great location. Great price. Nice helpful staff. Ideal for staying in Hakodate.

Everything was good during the stay except that it’s a bit far from JR Station, and the bus service wasn’t that frequent for getting around.

Great location near the train & bus station so easy access to everything in the city. Great to have the washing machine in the room.

Very impressed with the Onoma Tsuruga Resort. We stayed for two nights in November and loved the property. The room we had , with a private rotemburo was very nice. It was much larger than most rooms in Japan, had excellent facilities, and the private outdoor bath was the real winner. We also enjoyed dining at the hotel. The French multi-course dinner was excellent and while not cheap (we paid 16,000 Yen per person), it was well worth it. Service, presentation, and cooking were all very impressive. There is also an excellent wine list, with good options by the glass or bottle. The setting of the hotel is lovely, by the side of the marsh (konuma). It is very quiet and relaxing, surrounded by nature. The little resort town of onumakouen is nearby, with lots of little stores, cafes, and activities. This is a less well known spot in Hokkaido, compared with Niesko or Furano, but it's so beautiful. Having a car will really help out. Anyway, the hotel is highly recommended. We enjoyed the very nice touches, like freely available wine in the bar in the afternoon and evening. It's not cheap, but we felt we got excellent value for money and look forward to staying at the other Tsuruga properties in Hokkaido.
