"We booked this last minute, and it was the most reasonable priced, decent looking place we found. This is an older/no frills motel, so they updated as much as they could without doing drastic renovations. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Also great that they renovated the floors with no carpet. Wall thermostat was dated- could not figure out how to turn it off."

"Plain to stay at the royal victorian, you won’t be sorry. The motel itself is very nice, rooms are quite comfy and well appointed. We were surprised at how nice our room was for the price!! Such a great surprise and pet friendly too!! The buildings surrounding it are a bit tired. And those damnable gulls lol! With plans to return to the area we will return for another stay!! "

"We stayed for 2 nights on our tour around Washington. The room was tidy and clean and the location out of town ideal for us. No TV, but who needs a TV in a surrounding like that. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that you have no human contact with the owner or staff. Everything is done via the internet or by phone."
