This is a very nice rustic property, quite befitting the area of the mountains. Very easy check-in; the rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. A perfect spot as a base for hiking in the Gorges State Park and for other local attractions.

A true gem of a place to stay. Black Bear Lodge has a lodge with 4 apartments and an adjacent cabin. It was immaculate, the linens, towels and kitchen items (coffee maker, toaster oven, refrigerator, microwave) were all quality. Quiet with several amazing restaurants within easy driving distance. Parking was easy and free. Will definitely return for another stay at Black Bear Lodge.

The description of the property was accurate....no surprises. Check in was easy, the apartment was beautiful, very comfortable, clean, and inviting. There are several good places to dine nearby. Some great hikes within about 15 minutes. We will be back here for another mountain getaway in the near future. Highly recommend!!

We made last minute reservations because our daughter was going to be in the Cashiers area for an event. We were VERY pleased with the Rose room in the Cottage. It was clean, homey and well appointed. We liked that the area was quiet and it was away from the hustle and bustle of town but still convenient to Cashiers/Highlands as well as Gorges State Park. We definitely plan to return!
