The cabin was clean, quaint, and had a homey feel. It was perfect for a few days away and would have been great for a longer stay, given the grill, fridge, and other amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was so unique and beautiful! My son loved the playground he wouldn’t leave it. It’s comfy and cozy! Has a wholesome family feel to it:), just absolutely love it! ❤️ we would absolutely stay here again! And I recommend to anyone with children who want and outdoor experience with a cabin, and a nice little quiet area! It’s organized, friendly, and clean! I think it’s a perfect stay for anyone.

This cabin was a huge disappointment. While we actually love rustic accommodations, what we don’t love is filth. The floors were sticky and hadn’t been swept, there were crumbs all over the futon, and the dishes in the cabinet clearly hadn’t been washed properly. It was so bad that, for the first time ever, we walked away from a reservation. We had booked two nights, but the owner refused to refund even one. To make matters worse, Expedia offered little help, which makes me question how much they stand behind the properties listed on their site. Going forward, I’ll be booking direct. I genuinely don’t understand all the glowing reviews—this place doesn’t meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness, and we’re not picky travelers by any stretch.

Due to lack of plugins there were numerous power strips and extension cords in use. The TV sits atop the refrigerator and is connected to extension cords hanging down the side. The toilet was leaking on arrival and owners informed us it was condensation which it wasn't. The leakage soaked up numerous towels during our stay. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain but maintenance did get that fixed for us. We had rain during our stay and there was more leakage in the bathroom soaking up 3 bath towels. Spiderwebs in corners, on chair legs and in coffee cups hanging on wall. Smoke detector not in bedroom but laying on shelf in kitchen. There was a large hole in a window screen that was plugged with a napkin. These cabins are located near a very busy highway with heavy traffic and noise. We had no personal contact with the owners as checkin is handled on a bulletin board and they request all communication by text only. We stayed 6 nights only because there is no refund policy. We would not recommend.

Relaxing family weekend trip

This property is central to most of the attractions in the Keystone, Custer and Rapid City area. The bed was very comfortable and it was a very private area.
