"We chose this Motel 6 because it had a 'very good' rating. That's not exactly what we found. Our room had a smell like someone had been smoking pot. It went away after a while once we turned on the AC unit. There were balls of someone's hair on the bathroom floor - it obviously wasn't swept after the last guests. And the floor around the beds were very sticky. It certainly wasn't horrible - we have stayed in worse. And we travel with a small dog so we are used to average hotels. I would really classify this as more 'average' than 'very good'. The lobby and area around the outside was clean and the front desk staff was courteous. It did the job for what we needed but we are returning in September and will probably pay a little more for another hotel."

"Stay was adequate for our needs…just a place to sleep with A/C. The room smelled fresh and was visibly clean. Our TV remote didn't work so we called the front desk and asked for help. The friendly attendant came to our room immediately and spent a few minutes troubleshooting but left before resolving the problem, told us to wait for the restart and it should work. It didn’t. The pool didn’t look clean, was actually green instead of blue so we opted not to swim. Concrete sidewalks were in poor condition, lots of cracks and uneven surfaces in all of the outdoor walkways. We stayed on the 2nd floor but there was no elevator. Breakfast was available until 9 but they stopped cooking hot food at 8. We arrived at 8:30 and they were out of eggs. The dining area A/C wasn’t working and the room temp was 80° which made for an uncomfortable breakfast."
