"They gave us king bed room instead of 2 queen bed room even though I reserved for the 2 queen bed rooms. And I had to wait a lot to get extra rolling bed for my kid. And another long wait for extra comforter. I don’t understand why they’re so unprepared even though this full booking situation are fully expected every graduation season!"

"They provide the bare minimum. Don’t clean up the rooms during your stay, don’t freshen up the room either. If you happen to need an extra towel you have to go to the lobby to try to get one. Breakfast ran out before ten am. It felt like a hostal in a third world country. Definitely overpriced for the service provided."

"We stayed there for $450 for 2 nights during UNC graduation. First, there was roaches in the bathroom. My family that stayed in the adjacent room had roaches too, so this clearly was not a one off. Secondly, when I ran the water for the bath it was brown for at least 30 seconds. Which probably explains why the tub was so dirty. Other annoyance was the floors were uneven. The laid cheap lament and did not think to level it before. This is definitely not a place I would ever stay again. "

"The rooms were very clean and spacious with a separate seating area so it was perfect for our family. They went out of their way to celebrate Duke’s graduation weekend and Mother’s Day… decorations, welcome party, lobby snacks, roses for mothers. "

"Carpets throughout were stained, sheers in room were torn and room very tired. Clean but in need up updating. Disappointing overall for the price of the room. Hotel is close to Duke and we did find a great place to eat. Try Local 22 Kitchen & Bar. Very good restaurant, reasonably priced nice atmosphere. Would have chosen a different hotel if condition was known ahead of time. "

"Bullet proof glass at lobby says it all, then add no non-smoking rooms and possibly rented by the hour accommodations. It felt like a movie set."

"Historic old inn from the late 1770s, renovated, so some grace there. Made for old people. We were on the bottom floor so the noise from the room upstairs was intense. Wonderful shower. Located in the historic part of town wonderful place for walking & restaurants."
