Comfy and Quaint

Park next to room so it was easy to unload and load from car. Although there were a couple of steps up.

This was a pleasant stay. We spent one night and had no issues. It's an older hotel but for the price it's a good stay. There aren't any special amenities but if you are looking for just a place to sleep it's a good option.

watch out for steep driveway

i drive a minivan with a relatively low clearance. the entrance to their lot is manageable if you are careful... but the exit is steep and impossible not to scrape. there are lots of drag marks. Room was clean but a bit rundown.

Perfect

We were traveling and it was late and we were tired, so we stopped in at Knob Hill Motor Lodge. They found a room for us, even though we had no reservation. It was perfect for us -- the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we got a good night's sleep.

Okay for a stopover

Friendly welcome on check in. The room itself was very dated but was clean. The shower was brilliant, the bed was very comfy. The area itself is quite busy but the hotel is up on a hill so away from the traffic. A 5 min walk takes you to two supermarkets and a fab Italian Bella Italia, very reasonable priced restaurant with amazing pizza 🍕

It was very clean and quiet and a great price! The shower was a strong mist instead of a nice flow which made it difficult to get shampoo out of hair.

You get exactly what you pay for. If you want best, Comfort Inn is 5 minutes away for 120 dollars. We came to sleep so thats what we got. A good nights rest. Pizza Perfect in town was great. No real complaints.

Definitely Will Return

This was an excellent choice for a budget-friendly selection. It was the off-season, so I got a very attractive price. The motor inn is an older facility but has been well maintained and updated enough to have all of the conveniences you might expect. The room was very clean and simple. Everything worked well. The water was hot and had plenty of pressure in the shower. As far as economy hotels go, this should be among those at the top of your consideration. NICE, SIMPLE, CLEAN, and SECURE.

Hidden gem, Great place to stay!

This is an excellent place to stay. The staff were friendly and kind. The room was clean and the beds were AMAZING!!! My best friend and I stayed here on our 5-day trip through West Virginia. This was our 1st stop on the trip. We were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the motel is older, but I think it has charm. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't require a brand-new motel experience. This place was safe and quiet. I slept like a baby. We had everything we needed, which included fresh hot coffee in the morning. I like how your parking spot is your room as well. You don't have to go far if you have a lot to carry.

This place is falling apart, broken tiles in the bathroom, a broken lamp leaning against the wall, duct tape covering a broken deadbolt on the door. The parking lot is at such a steep angle that I dragged the chin spoiler on my car getting in and out of the lot...

Okey for short sleepover, nothing more

Was surprised to see the state of the room after reading all glowing reviews. It’s really run down and old, which was expected, but still. Don’t really know about the cleanliness either. The bathroom curtain was full of mold, for example. It’s okey for a short sleepover, but you’re not staying longer than necessary.

We had a mix-up in our reservation and booked for the wrong night. The male clerk there said there was nothing he could do to help us out. I was charged for the room, but we never checked in. Very disappointed they are always friendly and helpful, but not this time. We are elderly and on a fixed income. Even a partial refund would be helpful.

The sweetest lodge ever highly recommended

This was by far the most amazing place we have stayed for the price. The room was very big and open and clean clean clean. The overall place was very clean bathroom, bedding, ect. The owners called us the day we were to arrive to make sure we knew how to find them and to make sure the room heat was on in plenty of time for our stay. They are off the main road but not that far. We did not have any noise from the interstate but we were close enough not to notice the short hope back to the interstate. We were close to fast food. When we arrived it was late but check in was fast and they even agreed to open the vendor area if we needed anything. I can not say enough about how wonderful the owners were and how they offered any help they could give by far the best and safest place we have ever stayed and even our kids loved it. I would recommend this sweet little place to anyone. And if traveling back through we will stop and stay again which I am sure we will. This may even be a place for a little over night getaway.
